Robert K. DiFazio

Mr. DiFazio commenced his career in the financial services industry at Paine Webber Group Inc. as Vice President, Position Trader, in 1980.  In 1982, he left Paine Webber to join Smith Barney Inc. and was named Head of Listed Equity Trading in 1987.  In 1992, Mr. DiFazio became the Head of Smith Barney’s Equities Division, and was named Co-Head of Global Equities in 1997.  Mr. DiFazio led a workforce of 2000, including 20 Managing Directors, whose direct responsibilities covered a variety of trading areas, including derivatives, soft-dollar, exchange-listed, NASDAQ, and foreign securities.  In 2004, Mr. DiFazio joined National Financial Services, LLC, where he was named President of the Capital Markets Group.
 
Mr. DiFazio has served as a member of Citigroup’s Global Equity Operating Committee, the Dean’s Advisory Council for Villanova University’s Business School, and the National Organization of Investment Professionals.  Mr. DiFazio graduated Villanova University in 1978 with a BA in History and Philosophy, and also earned a Masters in Business Administration from New York University in 1982.
