Kun Qian
Principal

Kun is a principal and the Managing Director of our Asia Pacific business. She started her career as a diplomat in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, then joined JPMorgan as a Vice President of its Business Development Group, conducting M&A deals and developing the JPMorgan commercial card and debit card expansion strategy in China as well as the mobile payment strategy in Asia. Kun moved into the Trade group, managing all aspects of the Export products P&L, as well as developing the JPMorgan China Branch Expansion Strategy. Kun is also a columnist for China Economic Daily Group, China's largest business publication.

Kun earned her Bachelor of Computer Science from Xi'an Jiaotong University, her Master of Economics from University of International Business and Economics and her Master of Public Administration in International Development from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government.

Kun is based in New York and travels frequently to Asia to develop our business there.
